Genesis Life Care runs in-house kitchens at every centre, preparing nutritious, resident-friendly meals under the supervision of a dietician — no outsourced catering. As a Cook, you'll be part of the team that keeps residents well-fed, healthy, and looking forward to mealtimes. What you'll do: • Prepare daily meals for residents following dietician-approved menus, including texture-modified and special diets (soft, minced, pureed, diabetic, low-sodium) • Maintain kitchen hygiene, food safety, and stock rotation standards • Coordinate with the nursing team on individual residents' dietary restrictions and allergies • Help plan and prep for festive/special occasion meals for residents and families • Keep kitchen equipment and inventory in good order What we offer: • Stable full-time hours in a home-style institutional kitchen (not F&B shift chaos) • EPF, SOCSO, annual leave, free meals on shift • On-the-job training on elderly/therapeutic diet preparation • Accommodation arrangements available for outstation hires
